gardening:)

Recently, I've had this urge to plant a garden. I've always loved gardening. I think its from watching my grandmother and mother growing up. They put so much work and love into their garden. And it produced a good portion of the fresh veggies that were consumed at our dinner table. There's just something about getting your hands in the dirt...... It's super therapeutic:) And something about seeing the first little peak of little life break the soil, as it enters the world reaching for the sun. And the joy of watching it develop from a tiny plant. Isn't it exciting? :D

There's just one problem....... I live in a townhouse. No worries. I just planted seeds in pots which will chill on my porch. It all started last week with a trip to the Home Depot. I was just going to get some cucumber(which rot in about a week when store purchased), pepper, tomato, and spinach(also rot really fast) seeds, but ended up getting leek, zucchini, cantalope, and watermelon seeds too. Cantalope?!? Watermelon?!?! What kind of pots are going to hold that? That's where my parent's house and donors with land, who will care for them, come in. Anyone want to be a donor? Actually, you wouldn't really be a donor. I would just give you the plants once I feel like they are ready. Just take care of them and when they ripen take pictures or something and enjoy fruit with friends and family. I don't want any of it. Just tell me about your experiences.

Ever since this weekend, I've been planting a little at a time every day. I have planted watermelon, cantalope, leek and apple seeds in little styrofoam cups to start off. Does anyone have any extra pots they are not using? I am getting some, but feel like I will need a whole bunch. I got mad seeds, but am determined to see all of them come to fruit and share in the joy. Sharing the fruits of your labor can be a great gift, but maybe sharing the plants will be an even greater gift because it gets people into the labor of love of gardening. I know I have big dreams but that's because I have seen what a garden and its fruits can do for humans. I've seen the effect that giving fresh veggies or fruits do for the grower and the receiver. I decided to plant apple seeds, in memory of the 5 murdered apple trees who were viciously mowed down, 6 years ago, by my dad and brother via lawnmower. I know it was an accident but they would have been close to bearing fruit now, I think.

Can't wait :D

i'm planning to give blood today, which is the first time to my memory. alot of korean ppl ask me my blood type. when reply that i don't know, they're like, "what? you don't know your blood type?" and i'm like, "nope, so what's the big deal?". koreans gauge a people based on their blood type, because it has been proven by some korean melodramaticians that blood types define your self being by determining everything from personality and the type of person you would be compatible with.
me and my friend made a bet just for fun without knowing wat the types traits were. i think i bet on b and ab and she bet on a and o. i was curious so i looked it up. below is some info about all the different blood types. i think i identify with type a with the sensitive and not very expressive part,  and type b with being in space all the time and giving up easily.

Blood Type A, the dreaming romantic
Sensitive person. You’re easy to be hurt from even a small matter and you are unnecessarily sensitive. You think in your way, interpret, and misunderstand. But hiding your own thought, you look like a nice person considering others and take care of your surroundings. You like the romantic mood, forget reality, and are indulged in fantastic world. Unexpectedly, you are a stubborn perfectionist…

Blood Type B, enjoyable optimist
Optimist who enjoys life. You can even laugh facing your failure. Having a romantic tendency, you sometimes have thoughts distant from reality. But if you enjoy liberal life way too much, you might make enemies unexpectedly. You should change your easy-to-give-up personality.
You should think over whether you give up way too fast…

Blood Type O, leadership filled with confidence
You have a bright personality and lead others well. Your kind personality doesn’t let you leave people in trouble. You want to make your life dramatic, so people around you might not be so comfortable. Don’t forget there is happiness in ordinary life. You are proud of yourself and don’t like other people’s interruption. You would like to live in your own way, but over-confidence might return to you as a poison. When you fail you will feel in a slump due to your confidence. Take it easy and don’t forget even you might fail.

Blood Type AB, consistency with your patience and concentration.
With your strong patience and concentration, you can do anything. You can back up to let work go smoothly and easily when you are involved with projects with others. Being interested in politics and environment, you are full of intelligence. You make others who don’t know as much as you do look foolish and show an authoritative attitude. Don’t look down on others. Remember you should respect others’ values and the ways they live.

253 more days!!! that's the number of days i have to identify myself in the twenties category. but, they say the 30s are the new twenties. that's just a phrase some thirty year olds coined to make themselves feel better. unlike the countdown to the beijing olympics, mine isn't met with as much zeal. but you know wat they say, "if you can't beat them, join them" and that's exactly what i'm going to do.
my friend has a list of 30 things she wants to accomplish before she turns thirty, which is in a few months. so far i don't think she's crossed out one single thing on that list. well, at least she made a list. go kh!!! me, i'm not into making to dos. there is one thing i've been wanting to do. a mini triathalon. that's kinda funny cuz i haven't even run a 10k, not even a 5k.  oh another thing i've always wanted to do is to get my scuba license. hmm....... who's gonna hold me accountable?
